Best At-Home Chemical Peels

Just as a regular exercise is needed to achieve your fitness goals, the proper home skincare routine is essential for maintaining results of your professional treatments. Luckily for you, I have developed the perfect at home exfoliation routine which will help you to achieve your skincare goals.

Regular use of light alpha hydroxy acids and facial enzymes can promote cellular turnover, and brighten the skin.  Use of these products will extend and maintain your spa results in-between visits with me.

At home chemical peels are an easy way to keep skin fresh and most require no downtime. These are different and less aggressive than the professional strength peels you would receive with an aesthetician or dermatologist.

It's important to try before you buy, ask for a few samples, and always do a patch test before using any exfoliating products to check for reactions. People with very sensitive skin or those with more severe conditions such as rosacea, eczema, psoriasis or severe acne will want to consult with a professional. Complimentary consultations are always available with me.

Those with severe or cystic acne will want to avoid these kinds of products (unless otherwise directed by a professional) because most involve massage if the face which can spread bacteria and increase inflammation.

Below are my top 3 favorite at home chemical peels. Links are included to my Amazon store, so if you buy these products, please support us by shopping through my links offered for your convenience. The Rhonda Allison, is the only peel not currently available through Amazon.

Rhonda Allison Dermapeel:

One of my current must haves, super gentle, refreshing, no redness or tingling. Smells nice.

Good for majority skin types but especially those with rough buildup and congestion. Unique consistency, starts as a gel, then turned liquid before binding into a granular form. Science!

Here's a quick intro video about the product:

Mario Badescue Rolling Cream Peel:

Creamy non granular consistency containing peach and lactic acid as well as moisturizing Shea and vitamin e make it perfect for sensitive dry or mature skin.

Cellex C Speed Peel Facial Gel:

Is a house favorite at skin by Kay Leigh, Minty fresh, tingly, ahhhhhhh feeling. Not for those with sensitive skin, definitely do a patch test.

Make sure to moisturize well after use of any exfoliation product and always always use protection in the sun!!! Spf 30 or higher, remember to reapply every 90 minutes when outdoors.
